Seven Ukrainian lions taken to the Wild Animal Refuge in Springfield, Colo.
A remote wildlife sanctuary west of Springfield, Colo. welcomed seven lions from a war-torn zoo in Odessa, Ukraine earlier this month. After making the arduous seven-month-long journey from Ukraine to Romania to Colorado, the young lions will spend the rest of their lives at the refuge in peace.
