Peyton Manning has foot injury, misses Broncos practice
Michael Conroy
Quarterback Peyton Manning sat out Wednesday’s Broncos’ practice, but not just for his typically rest day. He has a foot injury that coach Gary Kubiak said has been going on for a while.
He considers Manning day-to-day and hopes he will be able to practice Thursday.
“It’s real sore coming off the turf. It’s been really sore for a few weeks now,” Kubiak said about Manning’s foot.
During the open period, Manning was stationary standing next to Kubiak and quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp watching Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian take all of the reps.
