As you cheer on the U.S. Olympic team, visit www.saveourbenefits.org to enter a contest for a commissary shopping spree that increases in value each time a U.S. athlete wins a gold medal.

As of noon Tuesday, the pot for the “Honoring Pride, Chasing Gold” contest had reached $1,450. Each time the U.S. Olympic team wins a gold medal, the pot increases by $50. If a military athlete wins gold, the pot increases by $100.

A winner will be randomly selected on Aug. 13. The contest is sponsored by the Coalition to Save Our Military Shopping Benefits, a group that advocates for the preservation and patronage of commissaries and exchanges.
