An Air Force Academy cadet died Tuesday while on summer leave in Las Vegas, the academy announced in a news release.

Cadet 2nd Class Yung C. Chin, a junior, was a member of the Class of 2014 and a biology major.

“Our Air Force Academy family suffered a tragic loss this week,” Commandant of Cadets Brig. Gen. Richard Clark said in a statement. “We ask everyone to please keep Yung’s family, friends and wingmen in your thoughts and prayers.”
