Now the brothers are producers behind “The Boroughs,” another Netflix series featuring mysteries and monsters. But this time, old age is the theme. Our characters live in a scenic retirement community, where nothing is as it seems. One thing is clear: Time is short. If petty arguments somehow became an Olympic sport, “Beef” on Netflix would be going for gold. The dark comedy series with two seasons to binge stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong in season one. The show begins with a simple road rage incident that spirals wildly out of control, consuming nearly every part of both characters’ lives. While holding grudges is never fun, watching someone else do it over something so miniscule has never been so entertaining. — April Borjon

“The Crash” is now streaming on Netflix, taking an investigative look at a fatal car crash that became the center of a highly publicized criminal case in July 2022. The documentary examines the events leading up to the incident, the aftermath of the crash and the emotional and legal fallout that followed for everyone involved. Having premiered in mid-May, the real-life story has taken the number one spot for movies on Netflix. — April Borjon

Turns out Netflix’s “Love is Blind” doesn’t work that well in other countries either, but it’s just as fascinating to watch as the original American version. Poland’s inaugural season gives us five couples who meet cute through pods where they can’t see each other, and lands us in Warsaw, where they either withstand or crumble under the psychological pressure of a wedding at the end of four weeks. — Jennifer Mulson

A second season of “The Four Seasons” is out now on Netflix, and stars Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo and Will Forte. Based on the 1981 film by Alan Alda, who also starred in it, the contemporary comedy-drama series follows the decades-long friendship of three couples. Their regular weekend getaways get upended when one couple divorces. Keep your eyes open for Alda in a guest starring role. — Jennifer Mulson
