Colorado football learns three more kickoff times with TV assignments
It’s time to start planning those tailgates.
Colorado’s home opener against FCS program Weber State will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, with coverage on ESPN+. The game time was announced Wednesday as part of the Big 12’s rollout of football kick times.
The Buffaloes also learned their Week 3 trip to Northwestern that caps nonconference play will be at 5:30 p.m. and broadcast on either Fox or FS1. Their Week 11 matchup vs. Houston on Friday, Nov. 13, is set for 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.
Deion Sanders’ program had already learned the season opener at Georgia Tech was moved up to Thursday, Sept. 3, with kickoff 6 p.m. on ESPN.
More kickoff times and TV assignments will be announced in the coming weeks as the entire Big 12 gets ready for the conference’s annual media days on July 7-8 in Frisco, Texas.
Coach Prime’s team is looking to bounce back from a 3-9 campaign in 2025, the worst record of Sanders’ three seasons in Boulder.
