1 dead, 2 wounded in shooting in east Colorado Springs; suspects sought
One person is dead and two others are hospitalized following a shooting in east Colorado Springs early Sunday, law enforcement officials said.
Officers responded to a 12:30 a.m. call about a shooting in the 2800 block of Powers Boulevard, near Constitution Avenue, according to an online blotter entry. When they arrived, they found three people with “at least one gunshot wound, each,” police said.
One victim, a man, was treated at the scene but died of his injuries. Two other victims, a man and a younger female, are in stable condition at a hospital, police said.
No suspect information was available as of Sunday morning and no arrests were announced.
