Wyoming students taunted CSU’s Eustachy with ‘alcoholic’ chant
The college basketball world continues to reverberate with criticism of University of Wyoming students who chanted “alcoholic” at Colorado State men’s coach Larry Eustachy on Wednesday night.
Some Wyoming students in Laramie taunted Eustachy after being handed fliers calling attention to his well-documented history of alcoholism. And those chants are now getting attention from ESPN and Sports Illustrated, which ran a story entitled “Why Taunting Larry Eustachy isn’t Funny. At all.”
Eustachy says he will mark a decade of sobriety next month.
