MeadowGrass tickets go on sale Saturday

Tickets for this year’s MeadowGrass Music Festival, to be held May 22-24 at La Foret in Black Forest, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. The musical lineup will be announced in February. Only 250 weekend festival passes with camping are available. The first 125 cost $109 and the second 125 cost $119. Weekend passes without camping are $79; rocky mountainhighway.ticketfly.com.

Broadway in Colorado Springs Series season set

The 2015/2016 Broadway in Colorado Springs Series at the Pikes Peak Center was recently announced. Season tickets start at $135 for all four shows, and payment plans are available; 520-7469, 477-2132, theaterleague.com.

Poet David Mason to release new book

David Mason, the poet laureate of Colorado from 2010-2014, will release “Davey McGravy” in March. The book, intended for both children and adults, follows a young boy as he maneuvers through the grief of losing his mother.
