Fire code violations have shuttered a Colorado Springs church.

The Rock Family Church’s Palmer Park Campus, at 1515 N. Academy Blvd., was issued a cease and desist order Wednesday for multiple violations, the Colorado Springs Fire Department said in a press release.

Seating over occupancy limits, failure to apply for a change of occupancy type, occupancy before approval, fire code violations and lack of plans and permits were included among the violations, the release said.

The campus has been shut down indefinitely, until violations can be corrected.
