A motorcyclist killed in a Sunday traffic crash near Penrose was 72-year-old Scott Stewart, the Fremont County Coroner’s Office announced Tuesday.

Stewart was thrown from his 2000 Harley Davidson when he missed a turn in the road on southbound Colorado 115 near milepost 44, the Colorado State Patrol said in a news release.

Troopers who responded to the call around 11 a.m. said several other motorcyclists were riding with the victim.
