FBI offering $10,000 reward in Ute Reservation homicide in Colorado
The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a man suspected of fatally shooting a youth on a Native American reservation in Colorado.
Jeremiah Hight, 23, is wanted in connection with the shooting death of a minor in Towaoc on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation, according to a Monday news release.
Hight is described as 6 feet tall and 400 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms, shoulders and neck, as well as a pierced left ear and a scar on his chest, the release stated. He reportedly has ties to the Four Corners region of Monument Valley.
Hight should be considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.
Anyone with information on the fatal shooting, or who might know Hight’s whereabouts, is asked to call 800-CALL-FBI (800-225-5324) or make a report at tips.fbi.gov.
