The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation and RecruitMilitary, with lead sponsor Walmart, will host “Hiring Our Heroes – Colorado Springs,” a hiring fair to connect veterans and military spouses. More than 25 employers are expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience. Companies range from America’s biggest employers to dozens of small companies from across the state. Since its launch in March 2011, Hiring Our Heroes has held more than 210 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 10,000 veterans and military spouses find employment. Thursday’s event is also part of “Hiring 500,000 Heroes,” a national campaign announced by the U.S. Chamber, National Chamber Foundation, and Capital One, to engage the business community in committing to hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.What: Hiring Our Heroes- Colorado Springs
