Accidental activation: No lockdown at Fountain grade school
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says an accidental activation of lockdown protocols occurred at a K-8 school in Fountain.
The Sheriff’s Office social media announced the lockdown of Grand Mountain School at 11:15 on Wednesday. Some 20 minutes later the department posted “Accidental activation. Everyone is safe.”
It is unclear at this time what caused the accidental lockdown.
