Colorado Springs weather: Cooler temperatures on Tuesday, but still mostly sunny
A brief cold front will result in cooler temperatures and early morning wind gusts, but Colorado Springs residents will still see mostly mild conditions on Tuesday, according to Gazette news partner KOAA.
“Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-60s,” Meteorologist Alan Rose said.
“A secondary cold front driving south across the Plains this morning will lead to a quick burst of strong north winds,” Rose said. “Gusts through about 9 am will range between 30-40 mph in the Pikes Peak Region, keeping morning temperatures on the mild side. Highs today will be around 15 degrees cooler than yesterday, topping out in the mid 60s in Colorado Springs.”
Overnight lows in the upper 30s precede a warmer Wednesday, according to Rose.
