Well, Game One is over and done, and we’re one game closer to Fargo.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Rock by rock, game by game.

The ice is keener than usual, which is great for our team.

And it’s the best way to get ready for ice at nationals.

Three men’s teams from Colorado also are playing. Team Sobering is 1-0. Team Van Brunt is 0-1. Team Moir is in the thick of it.

Game Two begins at 3:30 p.m., and the competition is open to public viewing. There’s no entry fee, so come on over!

Good curling, everyone!

The action on all four sheets of ice at the Denver Curling Club in Golden can be seen from the lounge, or warm room. TV screens above the window display the houses at both ends of each sheet of ice, so spectators can see which stones are in play – and predict what will happen next in each game.
