Police said two juveniles were arrested and a third is being sought in connection to the burglary of a southeast Colorado Springs home on Tuesday.

Video surveillance footage from a neighbor’s home showed three juveniles leaving the home on the 4400 block of Melville Drive, off South Chelton Road, carrying items from inside the house about 5:50 p.m., police said.

Using the surveillance footage and social media, investigators were able to identify all three juveniles, according to police reports.

Two of the juveniles were arrested on suspicion of burglary. An arrest warrant was issued for the third juvenile, police said.

Police did not release the identities of the juveniles involved because they are minors.

Some of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the homeowners, who had been on vacation at the time of the reported burglary.
