“Get my bible and my angel out,” Zimmerman said, after her car was back on it’s wheels.

She said the angel she keeps in her car holds a note saying “Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.”

Zimmerman was alone in the car and uninjured in the crash, rolling after colliding with a car that was crossing Wahsatch on Monroe.

Colorado Springs Police officer Michelle Nethercot said the driver of the other vehicle would be cited for careless driving. Zimmerman had to be cut out of her seatbelt by another driver after being found hanging upside down after the crash.

“She was extremely lucky,” Nethercot said.
