A gas line cut in Old Colorado City has been repaired, a Colorado Springs Utilities spokesman said.

Shops in Old Colorado City were evacuated after the gas line was cut in the 2400 block of West Colorado Avenue.

The line was hit by a private contractor working in the area. Colorado Springs Utilities crews repaired the line in just more than an hour, utilities said.
