American Airlines flight from LA to Boston diverts to DIA to boot unruly passenger
An Airbus A321 departing from Los Angeles and headed for Boston was diverted to Denver International Airport early Tuesday morning because of an unruly man, authorities say.
Denver police boarded the plane at 2:45 a.m. and arrested the man, according to Matt Miller, spokesman for American Airlines and local officials.
The name of the passenger and the charges he faces have not been released.
The red-eye flight carrying 169 passengers took off from LAX at 11:40 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Miller said. Flight 2507 was on the ground for about 45 minutes in Denver before taking off again.
