Happy 4th! Hubble captures celestial ‘firework’ show
Just in time for the Fourth of July! The Hubble Space Telescope recently captured a celestial firework show that puts the fireworks we have on Earth to shame.
A photo released by NASA on Tuesday shows a firestorm of star birth in a small galaxy 82 million light-years away.
The galaxy, dubbed Kiso 5639, is shaped like a disc, but looks more like a skyrocket because it is tilted and the galaxy’s star-forming head has a red glow, NASA said in a statement.
