The Colorado Springs Fire Department Heavy Rescue Dive Team may be back in Prospect Lake next week searching for a piece of evidence for the District Attorney’s Office and police.The fire department will not comment on what they were looking for for 7 hours on Thursday in the muddy waters of Memorial Park’s lake, nor will firefighters say what case the evidence is linked to.Lt. J.J. Halsey, fire spokesman, said the dive team is tentatively scheduled to resume searching Monday.The CSFD dive team is the only water rescue team of its kind in the Pikes Peak Region and routinely assists neighboring counties’ sheriff’s offices in vehicle and body recovery and evidence searches, Halsey said.
