A 16-year-old is in custody and another was being questioned in connection with a series of car burglaries Tuesday morning.

Colorado Springs police were alerted that two males were checking door handles and entering cars at a townhouse complex parking lot at 8000 Lexington Park Drive, near Rampart High School.

Police found two juveniles, whose names were not released, in separate areas at about 2 a.m. One was identified by a witness. He was taken to the Spring Creek Detention Facility.
