A woman was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday outside Wells Fargo Bank, 5495 N. Academy Blvd.

Colorado Springs police say a man approached the woman in the parking lot about 4:30 p.m. holding a handgun and demanding money. The woman complied with his demands and handed the robber an undisclosed amount of money.

After the robbery, the man drove west on Montbello Drive. Police did not specify the make, model or color of the getaway vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a grey or black hoodie and a baseball cap. His ears are pierced, police said.
