Truck crashes into Colorado Springs building
The driver of a van was ticketed for careless driving after police said he crashed into a building in southeast Colorado Springs Thursday morning.
The driver, who was not injured in the crash, was traveling eastbound over the MLK Bypass about 8:40 a.m. when traffic came to a sudden hault and he was unable to stop, Lt. Catherine Buckley said.
The van drove over the median and crashed into the Springs Hosting building located at 1205 Shasta Dr., Buckley said.
No one inside the building was injured, but police said the crash caused more than $10,000 in damage to the structure.
