A Colorado Springs man was arrested Monday after police said he allegedly choked and dragged a woman by the hair.

Edison Becilla, 30, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and kidnapping in connection to an incident at a home in the 1100 block of East Rio Grande Street, off South Hancock Avenue, police said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital and released shortly after, police said.
