Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has moved his 7 p.m. Wednesday rally in Colorado Springs to a larger venue, Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center, 5825 Mark Dabling Blvd.

The rally had been planned for 2221 N. Wahsatch Ave.

Santorum supporters turned out in such force to a Woodland Park event Wednesday afternoon that organizers had to warn the crowd to obey the fire code and keep aisles clear.Santorum, one of four final contenders for the GOP nomination, elicited both fervor and doubt from the crowd during an hour-long speech. He told the crowd that they were honor-bound to campaign against President Obama, and also attacked two of his opponents, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.Many of the crowd were true believers, and said they think Santorum has a chance to win, despite poll numbers to the contrary. Others, however, expressed doubt about Santorum’s viability in both the GOP primary and the general election.Santorum, however, insisted he can win.
