Death of man punched in head ruled a homicide
The death of a Fort Collins man who died after witnesses said he was punched in the head on Old Town early Saturday morning has been ruled a homicide.
The Larimer County Coroner’s office today said Nathan Engle, 24, died from cerebral edema and intracranial hemorrhage due to blunt force head injury. The office ruled his death a homicide following an autopsy this morning. Engle died on June 5, the office said.
According to witnesses, Engle was punched in the back of the head and collapsed to the ground.
