Jay Patel and Peggy James were named to the Citizens Commission on Ownership and Governance of Memorial Health System on Monday by the Colorado Springs City Council.

The two replace Tim Leigh and B.J. Scott, who resigned from the panel earlier this month over conflict of interest concerns.

Also, Murray Weiner was named as an alternate to the commission.
