Sky Sox Josh Muecke and three relievers combined to scatter seven hits and frustrated Memphis hitters all day in a 3-1 victory on Sunday.

Colorado Springs got RBI singles by Chris Nelson and Mike Paulk in the fourth inning and pinch-hitter Matt Miller in the seventh to win. The Sky Sox finished with seven hits, including two each by Nelson and Paulk.

Muecke (5-6) gave up a run on five hits in six innings. Scott Rice and Andrew Johnston relieved before Matt Reynolds got the final four outs for his seventh save of the season.

The Redbirds got their run on a sacrifice fly by Lance Lynn in the fourth inning.

The Sky Sox can earn a split of the four-game series Monday.
