A 15-year-old girl escaped from two men who tried to kidnap her Saturday night as she walked home from work in east Colorado Springs, according to police reports.

The teen told police she was walking near the intersection of East Pikes Peak Avenue and Murray Boulevard about 11 p.m. when two unidentified men in a vehicle tried to kidnap her by grabbing her and pulling her hair, police said. She managed to break free and run home, police said.

According to police, one of the men had a tattoo on his right wrist and a scar under his right eye and both men were driving a dark green or black two-door sedan. Police searched the area but did not find the men or the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
