The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has ruled Monday’s stabbing death of 59-year-old Terry Stroud is the city’s seventh homicide of the year.

The victim’s son, 32-year-old Jason Lee Stroud, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder shortly after the stabbing at the victim’s home at 2970 El Capitan Drive.

Terry Stroud suffered multiple stab wounds.

Jason Lee Stroud is being held without bond at the El Paso County jail.
