Firefighters made quick work of a fire reported Wednesday from a home in Colorado Springs.

The fire was initially reported about 7:15 a.m. from a residence on the 800 block of Paseo Road, off East Fontanero Street and North Nevada Avenue, according to a tweet from the fire department.

Fire and emergency responder scanner chatter indicated the flames sparked in a smoker behind the home and the structure wasn’t damaged.
