Police have not been able to identify a man whose body was found in North Cheyenne Canyon Park on Saturday.

The man, who carried no identification, apparently fell more than 200 feet down an incline, according to police.

Three hikers discovered the body lying 200 yards from Cheyenne Canyon Road about 6:30 p.m., police said.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, had a tattoo that could help identify him, but police did not provide a description.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy Monday to determine the cause and manner of death, police said.
