An unidentified man tried to rob a Walgreens store at gunpoint in south Colorado Springs Sunday, according to police reports.

The robber entered the Walgreens at 1855 Southgate Road, off East Cheyenne Road, about 10:50 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register, police said.

The man did not fire the weapon and no one was injured, but he fled before police arrived.

There was no suspect information available, police said.
