Yoder man dies in Fremont County motorcycle crash
A 56-year-old man from Yoder died Sunday in a motorcycle crash in Fremont County, southeast of Cotopaxi, according to a statement from the Colorado State Patrol.
The man was traveling southbound in a black 2004 Harley Davidson Fatboy about 11:50 a.m. on Fremont County Road 27A and failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, traveling off the left side of the road, the state patrol said.
The motorcycle rotated a quarter-turn clockwise and rolled one time, ejecting the man and crashing through a barbed-wire fence.
The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity will be released when next-of-kin notification is complete, Trooper Eric Zachareas said.
The crash remained under investigation, Zachareas said.
