FBI apprehends suspect in Pueblo with felony warrant
The FBI Denver office arrested Lawrence Romero, 49, on Aug. 22 in Pueblo after he had a felony menacing warrant in the county, a spokesperson with the office told The Gazette Tuesday.
The agency office announced the arrest earlier on Tuesday on social media and stated that “this one is behind bars and the community is safer.” Romero has a criminal history of battery and child abuse in New Mexico, and theft and fraud in Colorado, according to the spokesperson.
