Western Street Breakfast set to return this month to downtown Colorado Springs
Celebrate the legacy of the state’s Wild West heritage at the Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast. Put on your cowboy hat and jeans, slip on your cowboys boots and then make a trip downtown (Tejon Street and Pikes Peak Avenue) on Wednesday for a morning of fun. A delicious hot breakfast is $5 (pancakes, eggs and more) with kids ages 5 and younger eating for free. Country/rock band Exit West, the Flying W Wranglers and Sweetwater Native American Hoop Dancers are scheduled to perform, and the Girl of the West will take part. — Nathan Van Dyne, Springs Scene
