Jeff Lockhart was brewing in the back. His wife, Kristin, was up front pouring beers and charming first-timers like me. It was another delightful afternoon at Colorado Springs’ newest, delightful little brewery. 

Armillary Brewing Co. (4810 Old Farm Drive, Suite 120) opened just in time for summer. For folks in the neighborhood here off Austin Bluffs Parkway, it was a long time coming; the Lockharts identified something of a “beer desert” here. 

Now people near and beyond Old Farm can quench their thirst with creations from an award-winning, well-traveled brewer. And they can grab pizza or beer cheese made in-house.
