Pikes Pick: Shoppes at Indigo Ranch block party urges community to support local businesses
Looking for a fun way to support local businesses this weekend? Stores from Shoppes at Indigo Ranch have come together to host a community block party from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday. According to Urbane Collective owner Molly Fish, many businesses in the area have seen revenue drop anywhere between 30% to 40% due to nearby construction. Now, the shopping center will host family-friendly activities, music and food to encourage community members to stop by.
The block party will feature free activities, including bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists and a dunk tank, along with raffles and prizes from participating businesses like Sasquatch Cookies, Umi Sushi and Korean Gardens, among others. Whether you stop by for the giveaways, local food or community spirit, it’s a chance to shop small while having fun along the way. — April Borjon
