Full Colorado State football schedule announced with kickoff times, TV assignments

The first season of the Jim Mora era won’t be hard to find on your TV screens.

Colorado State announced its complete 2026 football schedule Wednesday ahead of its first season in the new-look Pac-12.

But before the adventure begins in the revamped conference, the Rams will kick off against their biggest rival with the season opener against Wyoming — the 81st straight season with a Border War matchup — with that game set for 4 p.m. (USA Sports) Saturday, Sept. 5 at Canvas Stadium.

Two weeks later, CSU caps a three-game homestand to open the season with another regional rivalry game against BYU. The visit from the Big 12 contender is set for 5:30 p.m. and nationally televised on CBS.

The program’s first Pac-12 game is against Oregon State and is slated for Saturday, Oct. 3, in Fort Collins with USA set to broadcast the 4 p.m. kickoff.

The Rams will play one game not on a Saturday this fall with the Week 7 matchup at Texas State set for Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. on the CW.

There are only two kickoff times yet to be announced, the first being the nonconference finale at UTSA on Sept. 26. That game will be broadcast on an ESPN network.

The second is the regular-season finale, which also does not have an opponent set yet as it is part of the Pac-12’s “flex” model designed to create favorable matchups for potential College Football Playoff berths, although it is likely CSU will host Texas State on Nov. 28.
