Here are four local boutiques worth adding to your shopping lineup.  

Terra Verde Boutique

A downtown staple since 1992, Terra Verde Boutique blends fashion, gifts and home décor inside its 6,000-square-foot storefront at 208 N. Tejon St. 

The women-owned shop was purchased in 2020 by longtime managers Carrie Hibbard and Leah Riehl. Since then, they’ve sold items from clothing brands like Free People, Effie’s Heart and IsArt’s Ayala Bar.

With everything from handbags and jewelry to candles and bath products, the boutique even carries baby clothing and other unexpected finds, like full picnic basket sets and hand-painted kitchenware. 

“We want every single person that walks into our store to find something that brings them joy,” Leah Riehl said on the boutique’s website. “We have an old school retail approach of quality over quantity and a good experience over everything.”

Urbane Collective

Urbane Collective blends boutique fashion with plants, local vendors and community events all under one roof at 7676 Dublin Blvd. 

The women-owned shop offers size-inclusive clothing from small to 3XL, alongside home décor, jewelry, gifts and a full plant boutique tucked between the racks.

“We offer one-of-a-kind size-inclusive women’s clothing, but we’re also a plant boutique,” owner Molly Fish said. “I want to bring back the entire shopping experience, so when you enter my store, we have free drinks, and there are always snacks.”

Beyond its clothing selection, Urbane Collective has become known for hosting community-centered events like Plant Bingo, Paint a Pot and Sip and clothing exchanges. 

The boutique even offers a $29-a-month membership called the Urbane Inner Circle, which includes perks like 10% off purchases, first access to new arrivals, buy-one-get-one event tickets and mystery gifts from Colorado vendors.

Eve’s Revolution

Eve’s Revolution has spent more than two decades building a boutique that feels equally stylish and welcoming.

The west-side shop at 1312 Colorado Ave. has become a go-to spot for women searching for everything from cozy sweaters and overalls to dresses and handbags, alongside smaller items like candles, lip balms and scarves. 

Shoppers hunting for deals can also browse a rotating selection of sales, with many items currently marked under $10.

Unsure where to start? The boutique frequently shares outfit inspiration across its social media, pairing together in-store pieces to help shoppers envision ready-to-wear looks.

With its mix of fashion, gifts and the community atmosphere of Old Colorado City, the boutique leans into the same cozy charm that defines the historic area.

What to Wear

From in-store browsing to private shopping parties complete with wine and charcuterie boards, the shop located at 2714 North Gate Blvd. carries a variety of clothing styles for everyone.

This boutique is the second What to Wear location, inspired by the success of the original Illinois storefront. Since opening locally, the shop has focused on hand-selecting styles that “feel unique without sacrificing wearability,” according to their website. 

Featured brands include Dolce Vita, Kendra Scott, Dylan, Liverpool and more.

For shoppers unsure where to start, the boutique features Jerri’s Picks online, where the owner, Jerri Roush, personally recommends her favorite pieces from the store’s inventory. 

What to Wear has also become known for its private shopping events, where groups can reserve the boutique for parties, celebrations or fundraising nights. During those events, guests can browse the entire store while enjoying provided wine, snacks and personalized styling, with 10% of proceeds going toward a charity of the group’s choice.
