Colorado Springs firefighters safely rescued a woman who got stuck 50 feet above the ground in a tree while trying to save her cat on Friday afternoon, according to a social media post by the Colorado Springs Fire Department.

Heavy rescue and high angle teams were working near the area of Circle Drive and Yuma Street, where all roads in the nearby area were closed.

Shortly before 4 p.m., the fire department reported that both the person and the cat were “safely back on solid ground.”

No injuries were reported.
