A longtime Broncos player is thrilled with two significant offensive additions for 2026.

The Broncos acquired wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in a trade with the Dolphins. Denver also drafted University of Washington running back Jonah Coleman with a fourth-round pick. Both moves are well received by starting left tackle Garett Bolles.

“I’m super excited for the future,” Bolles told The Denver Gazette.

The Broncos went 14-3 last season, won the AFC West and secured the No. 1 playoff seed. Their postseason run ended with a home loss to the Patriots in the AFC championship game. In late January, Bolles told reporters what must happen for the Broncos to take the next step.

“We just need a couple more playmakers, and the sky is the limit for this team,” Bolles said.

Waddle and Coleman appear to fit that description.

Waddle, 27, logged 373 catches for 5,039 yards and 26 touchdowns over the last five seasons in Miami. The Broncos traded a first-round pick to acquire Waddle. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound wide receiver touts the agility to make plays in space near the line of scrimmage and the speed to take the top off an opposing defense.

The Broncos selected Coleman with the No. 108 overall pick in the NFL draft. He was the fourth running back off the board. Coleman rushed for 1,811 yards and 25 touchdowns over his last two college seasons. He is also a capable pass protector at 5-foot-9 and 220 pounds.

“We got a lot of great draft picks,” Bolles told The Denver Gazette. “Obviously, Jaylen Waddle is a freak of nature. I’m excited to watch him do his thing. He’s just such a positive and loving dude. Just so friendly. … I’m excited. Our offense is right where we need to be. Our defense is right where it needs to be. The sky is the limit for us.”
