The U.S. Forest Service’s Pikes Peak Ranger District will close over five miles of Mount Herman Road from May 3-15 for construction, according to a news release by the agency.

The work to repair retaining walls and increase the safety on National Forest System Road 320 will span from its intersection with Red Rocks Drive to 320.A.

The Monument Trail will be also be closed during the project.
