Two people died in shootings in the 3300 block of Alturas Drive on Wednesday morning, according to Pueblo police.

When officers arrived at the address on the city’s southwest side they found a deceased female and an injured male, who later died of his injuries. Police said they are investigating the matter as a “homicide-suicide,” but did not indicate which person was the alleged shooter.

This homicide is the sixth in Pueblo this year, two more than this time last year.
