Man arrested after shooting in Pueblo parking lot injures 1
Pueblo police arrested 20-year-old Antoni Sandoval after an argument turned into a shooting Thursday, according to a news release by the department.
Sandoval is accused of shooting another man following an argument while the pair were walking to their vehicles in a parking lot in the 4200 block of Dillon Drive, the address for the Walmart on the city’s north side.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound before returning fire, causing the suspect to leave the area before he “called dispatch from a different location,” according to police. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sandoval was booked into the Pueblo County jail faces an attempted first-degree murder charge.
