It’s not often we get a new album from Bon Iver. Nor is it often we get to see the experimental band and its enigmatic creator, Justin Vernon, live on stage; no tour has been announced for 2026 while Vernon returns a musical festival to his small town in Wisconsin. This is why I’m excited about “VOLUMES: ONE.”

It’s Bon Iver’s first album curating live performances. These are from concerts over the years in places like Jakarta, Indonesia, and Perth and Adelaide in Australia. Vernon’s music is always transportive in ways hard to define, and that’s especially true here, taking us to those rare crowds.
