A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with an SUV in southeast Colorado Springs on Sunday, according to an online blotter entry.

Officers responded to a 10:06 p.m. call about the crash, which took place in the 3400 block of Hancock Expressway, near Astrozon Boulevard, police said. When the officers arrived, they found a rider dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported, and no arrests were announced.

Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
