A motorist is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Sunday, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The rollover crash took place just after 1 p.m. near Dublin Boulevard and Gambol Quail Drive West, officials said.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and were administering aid to the injured driver when police arrived. The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

CSPD’s Major Crash Team is investigating the crash. It is not yet known if speed or impairment were factors.
